Machine Corner: Does your needle threader on your machine work well? Needle threaders are the most complained about part of sewing machines. Here are a few hints on how to get the best out of your needle threader.
1. Select the straight stitch on machine. Often this will be the first stitch to select on your machine. This will stitch position centers your needle.
2. Place needle in the highest position. I use my needle up/down button to put the needle up high.
3. Thread your needle with the appropriate weight thread (50 wt) and a 90/14 needle. Most needle threaders will not work well with smaller sized needles. (ie 80/12 or 75/11)
Need a new machine? Know someone who does? Check out the promos at www.janome.com for the new Holiday gift guide available from October 1 - December 31st. Be sure to print out the flyer and leave it around the house with your favorite machine circled so your family knows what to order when they stop in.
