It's December- Let's Jingle!!

Starting today, Dec 4 - Dec 24 we are Jingling for your January! Come in between those dates and receive a red envelope when you spend $35 or more (Envelopes are given for increments of $35). Hold on to those RED envelopes because starting January 2, you can bring them in and see what FREE gift and discount your envelope holds. We have awesome discounts and great free gifts tucked in each one. Don't delay- envelopes are limited and you won't want to miss out on the fun!

Sewing with Knits- Gwen made two dresses and she doesn't even sew clothing- well maybe now she does! She will help you with your project or you can make the Coco dress on display. Knits are not as scary as they sound. Bring your pattern or grab one of ours... You will love these soft and comfortable fabrics. Oh the possibilities of what you can make. Thursday, Dec 13 5pm-9pm
Pajama Pants Party- Just in time for a comfy weekend at home... Let's make some jammie bottoms. Knit, flannel or cotton- the pattern works with them all. We'll use our coverstitch machine to make the cuff look professional! Tuesday, Dec 18th 10-1 or 6-9
Birthday Club 2019- We are thinking of our next years Birthday Club and would like to get it started right away in JANUARY. This is a fun time for friends to sign up together and make blocks. It's a minimal commitment and the in the end you have 12- twelve and a half inch blocks to make into a lovely quilt.... or pillows... or runner... or whatever your heart desires. For 2019, I already have 5 people on the list and need 7 more to commit to making 12 blocks during the year for the club participants. Just Can't Cut It weekend- New to sewing and want to make a quilt? The Just Can't Cut It pattern is a wonderful beginner quilt to start your journey. Gwen walks through the very first steps of making a quilt from cutting fabric to sewing it together and everything in between... and at the end you will leave class with a quilt top ready to be quilted! Bring a friend and make a quilt! Fri 5:30-9pm- Sat 10-5pm January 4-5
At our staff meeting, last night, the gals remarked that we have gotten in at least 19 boxes of new items in the past few weeks... Batting, fabrics, books, gifts, notions, it's all here! HAVEN SEWING will not meet in December but will resume in January.
Misti updated us yesterday with the following needs: TWIN Batting or monetary donation toward batting. The Haven facility has 10 twin beds currently and 11 bodies needing those beds. They have enough fabric for quilt tops but need to get them finished (ie with batting so they can be quilted). Please come to the store to purchase the batting or drop off donations and we will let Misti know they are here. Below are a few of the ROCK STAR Sewists who helped to donate over 65 pillow cases to Haven this year.
