Halloween brought the cutest trick-or-treaters to our sidewalks downtown last night and we had a great time during our Quilter's Crawl last weekend. With that holiday over, it's time to be thinking of finishing those Thanksgiving and Christmas projects. We are here to help!
Mini Retreat- Stay in your own bed and get those Christmas projects done with uninterrupted time to sew. Friday, Nov 9 through Sun, Nov 11 we will be reserving the classroom just for you! Dinner Fri night and Brunch Sat and Sun will be provided. Sign up now to reserve your space. Gwen will be on hand to assist with projects and she has some fun up her sleeves! Finish What You Started is resuming this Friday- November 2nd. Come and sew in our classroom and the girls will be here to assist with projects and sewing wisdom. Cost: $10
Lunch and Learn- Second Weds monthly- This month (Nov14) we will be going over how to make the Twister Tray. Bring your lunch and learn how to use the Bosal moldable fusible. Call to reserve your spot. Cost: $10
Beginning Quilting Class ladies are halfway through the 12 week session and they are Rock Stars! We are planning to start a new session in the Spring so if you are interested, call or email us @ info@mainstreetquiltingco.com to let us know. This class makes for a nice holiday gift!
Intermediate Quilting class has a few more weeks to go and we are already thinking of scheduling the next class sessions. Our Beginning Quilting Class is a prerequisite to take our Intermediate Class. Call today to get signed up for the next session beginning in January 2019.
Birthday Clubbers--- We are starting to think about the party this spring and if you are like me (which I am sure you are not!) I need to get my blocks done. Can you say Mini Retreat?? This is just a reminder for us all that blocks need to be turned in by February 8th 2019 so we can get all the presents wrapped and ready. Our party will be March 1st @ 5:30pm. We had a blast last year and we are sure to again this year. For those who have a Birthday Club Quilt completed, we'd love to show off what you have done. The New Yellowstone Batik is flying off the shelves. We have pillow case kits and a new quilt kit coming your way shortly. We were able to get a few more bolts of the colors we showed before but they won't last. We did get a new color- the picture is terrible but it's a pretty dark blue/purple color!
