February News from MSQCo

Well January was gone in a flash! We've been hopping here with classes and new products arriving all the time. Our January retreat was a complete blast and we need to do it again. Thank you ladies for the laughter- it does a body good!

We received news recently about the Bobcat Paw fabric from Hoffman. It arrived at the Hoffman warehouse and was not approved to be sent out to customers. The colors had bled so we are now awaiting the new shipment which is being remade. I hope to be calling people real soon that the fabric is here- just hold on a little longer! Here's an idea of the size of the paws and the color options.

Downtown Bozeman will be having the Annual Crazy Days Feb 16-19- Don't miss the store wide craziness! Doors open at 10am on Friday, Sat and Monday.

Stash Busters- Join us MONDAY Night for a fun way to use up your STASH!! Scheduled for the last Monday of each month, next two classes: Feb 26 @ 6pm and March 26 @ 6pm. Bring your stash and use it up! Call us today so we can save you a seat in the class and a piece of pie! Cost: $25
- For Feb Class: We'll be making a bed runner or baby quilt. Please bring 5 packs mini charms (about 200 2 1/2" squares) and 1/2- 5/8 yard background fabric (smaller amount if you are a confident cutter), bring your Stripology ruler if you have one, rotary cutter, your machine and neutral thread. Sneak peak below... can you tell I am ready for Spring?

Project Bag Class- Join us as we make a bag large enough to hold those mats and rulers! I love how this bag will hold all I need for class or a retreat. This two day class starts on Friday afternoon 4-7pm and continues on Sat from 10-5pm. Stop in the store for your class list and book. We still have a little room in this class! February 9-10 Cost: $50 plus supplies

T-Shirt Quilt Class- Bring your t-shirts (the more the better!) and make a quilt. The results of these classes have been wonderful memory quilts. February 16-17 Fri 3pm-6pm & Sat 10am-5pm Cost: $50 plus book This class is filling quickly! Call us today 406-586-6097

Kimberbell Embroidery Class- Embroidery classes for all makes and models of machines. We have a Kimberbell Dealer Program with exclusive designs that you will not find in her "over the counter" collections. You will not want to miss the fun. Class fee plus kit required for each class. Bring your machine, stabilizer, threads and USB stick. Cost: $10 + kit. Held the last Weds of each month @ 10am- next classes: Feb 28 and March 28

Finish It! with Leslie McNeil- Friday, February 23 from 1-4pm Cost: $20

Quilt It! with Leslie McNeil- Saturday, February 24 from 10-3 Cost: $40

Fabric Painting with Leslie McNeil- Friday, March 16 from 12-4pm Cost: $30

Thread Play with Leslie McNeil- Saturday, March 17 from 10:30-4 Cost: $40

Beginning Quilting 12 week session- starting February 20th. This 12 week session gives you a wonderful start in learning various quilting techniques. Gwen has many tricks and tips to show you a precise and easy way to complete blocks. This class is a prerequisite for the MSQCo Intermediate class. 12 week class starts: February 20-May 8. Cost: $150 plus supplies

Beginning Mini Camp- This four week session will take you through the beginning of learning to make 12" blocks. It's a great class for those who are short on time. Thursday Evenings March 8-29 Cost: $75 + Supplies

Long Arm Class- Come and learn to use our Long Arm! You will be required to complete the class prior to renting our Long Arm Machine. Monday, Feb 19th 2pm- 4pm Cost: $50

Second Sunday Sew with Gwen- With so many Blocks of the Month ongoing- we are setting aside one day a month for help! Join us on the Second Sunday of the month and sew with us. We will have our classroom available from 12pm-4pm for those who want assistance with the BOMs, projects or just some sewing time! Call ahead to reserve a spot in the classroom 406-586-6097 Cost: $15
Paper Piecing Class- If you have never done paper piecing and are interested in learning the techniques- we have the perfect class! We have two projects available: Pineapple Paper Piecing or New York Beauty with foundation fabric. If you have your own project- bring it along the technique is the same. Saturday, March 3 10a-2pm Cost: $35.00
Crazy Quilting with Susan Ward- I'd love to have you see all the gorgeous crazy quilts that were completed last time (newsletters are not large enough!) Ladies, Susan would love to see your completed projects from her class. Let's give her a show and tell when she is here! Class: April 4-5 Cost: $75
Gallatin Migration- Susan Ward has a new pattern and she needs testers! She will be here again April 6-7 and will be presenting a new pattern and techniques in her quilt (inspired by us!) called: Gallatin Migration. April 6-7 Cost: $75
