I'm not sure where July went but it vanished right before my very eyes! We have welcomed many visitors to our store, have been on the road, rowed a little ourselves and are gearing up for more fun along the way! We are now into the middle of August and starting to gather our ducks in a row for the Fall. We have been open on Sundays this summer and are considering having Sunday hours for the fall also but I need to hear from YOU! We have so many new fabrics, notions and kits coming that my head is spinning! It certainly didn't help that Bob, my fabric rep, was just here and he brings a VAN FULL of fabric samples. The girls and I are full of excitement for the fun fabrics, kits and minkee coming this fall! Please see below for what's happening for currently.

Classes and Special Events

Row By Row Experience continues until Sept 5th. If you missed out on getting a kit, call us and we will set one aside for you. We will be able to mail out our prepaid row kits on Nov 1st.  
Main Street Quilting Company has a WINNER!!! I get to brag on Barbara Smith for a bit because she is a graduate of the Fall 2016 MSQCo Beginning Quilting class. Barbara completed rows from eight Montana stores and used a variety of quilting techniques. Well done, Barbara!






Classes and Special Events

We will be having our BACK-to-SCHOOL event on Sept 8-9, Fri & Sat. Stop in on those days and receive a special discount when you sign up for classes. We will have all offerings on display in the classroom- there may even be an "after school snack"!
From Beginning classes to Intermediate to bags and so much more- Don't miss this fun time to see what we are doing. When you sign up on those two days, there will be a special discount.

Finish What You Started Fridays: August 18, 25, Sept 1, Sept 7, 28

We will start meeting on Thursdays in Sept after the Memorial Day Holiday. Get help finishing those projects you’ve had on the back burner. We’d love it if you called us ahead of time so that we have a head count. Cost: $10 for classroom use. Machine also available for rent in classroom for $15/hour (one hour min.)

Software Inspirations: August 30, Sept 27, Oct 25 12:30-1:30pm
Join us on the last Weds of each month as we learn about Bernina's latest Version 8 software release can do. Be sure to have updated your software prior to class. Bring a USB stick. Cost: $10. 


Intro to Quilting: Tuesdays, August 15 for 12 consecutive weeks, am/pm sessions

Class runs twelve weeks, covering the basics from purchasing fabric, cutting fabric, sewing, and making common quilting pieces. This is a true beginner class, so don't think you're not good enough! Consider giving the life-long gift of quilting this holiday with a gift certificate for class. Cost: $150 plus materials. Call for more details or to register. 

Collage Class with Leslie McNeil Sept 20-21 or 22-23.
Please call us ASAP (406-586-6097) to sign up. These classes fill quickly. As one of the most popular Collage Classes, we are always excited to be included on her schedule again.  Cost: $75.00 plus supplies


Crazy Quilt Class- Susan Ward is coming!! Nov 1-2. We get her for two wonderful days filled with great tips and techniques for completing a Crazy Quilt wall hanging. The first day includes construction techniques and the second focuses on embellishments.  Stop into the store to see her gorgeous sample. 
Cost: $75


Intermediate Quilting Class- 14 week course starts November 9th am/pm classes

CLASS POLICIES:

• Students must pay the class fee at the time of registration.  
• Fee does not include supplies or materials unless stated.
• Materials needed for class purchased at this shop will receive a 15% discount on non-sale items purchased.  
• Students wishing to cancel must do so one week prior to class to receive a refund.  
• If a class is cancelled by the instructor all fees will be refunded.
• Class fee covers one student only.
• Children are not allowed in classes unless they are attending the class as a student with the necessary skills to participate in that class. Babes in arms may be an exception given by the instructor.
