Summer is coming to a close, school starting again, and fall weather will arrive before we know it. That means we are ready for fall classes and new sewing projects!

Fall Shop Hop 2026
Mark your calendar for October 1st-3rd, the Fall Shop Hop has arrived! This October each shop will have a pink themed block to highlight breast cancer awareness. Think Pink! Here is a sneak peak of our block. Kits will be available once shop hop has begun.
Soup & Sew Saturdays
Come join us for a relaxing day of sewing! We are offering a way to get those projects done with help. Bring your sewing machine, any notions you might need and a project you are working on. If you don't have a project started, we can help with that too. Our staff is happy to help you answer any sewing/quilting questions you may encounter. This day includes soup lunch & dessert. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces for soup & sew. Please check the dates listed below and sign up with the link.

Mini Retreats
Our Mini Retreats have continued to fill months in advance and we are so thankful to get to spend the first weekend of the month with you wonderful ladies who feel like family. We do have a wait list that we can so don't hesitate to call us and we would happily add your name. Classes:
Foundational Learning Class 101 Quilting Basics Class Evening
September 22nd- October 27th
Welcome sewists! If you need a refresher course, or are wanting to start a new hobby we would love to help you! This class features SIX CONSECUTIVE WEEKS of learning foundational skills. This will allow you to try out many tools and quilting techniques. By the end of the class you will have created a beautiful runner.
It will be held September 22nd- October 27th. Once you have signed up for the class, we will email you a list of the required materials. Beginners must be able to use their own sewing machine- wind bobbins, thread the machine and use a straight stitch. Come join like minded people who are eager to learn or refresh skills. We look forward to seeing you soon!
60 Degree Ruler Class: Triangle Frenzy

Tree Skirt Class
November 12th
Come make a cute scrappy tree skirt. We are using 10" squares and a fun slash-n-sew type of pattern. Just in time for the holidays, this pattern will help you make a tree skirt than can be used for years to come.

We have received our first shipment of the amazing handloom fabrics. Along with their precuts in 10 inch packs, 2.5 inch rools, & 5 inch squares. Stay tuned for more of these wonderful blenders because we will be getting the entire collection in! Keep checking in for the new colorways.

2026 Fall Fabric Challenge:
We still have some kits available if you would like to participate! Pick up yours today! Projects may not exceed 275" in circumference and must use at least 90 percent of both fat quarters. We can't wait to see what you create. Let your imagination run wild! There will be voting and prizes so you won't want to miss out.
Just as a reminder your Fall 2026 Fabric Challenge projects will be due on September 29th. Voting will begin on October 1st.
Birthday Club Reminder: Blocks are due October 16th! This deadline is coming up sooner than we thought (get going Gwen!!) If your blocks are completed, you are welcome to bring them back to the store anytime. Please bring them in the labeled baggie given when you picked them up. SIGN UP HERE FOR OUR PARTY
