Happy Easter! What a fun time of year- Spring in Montana brings snowy weather and little sprigs of grass in my front yard! I remember the year we just had gotten a camcorder (years before our phones had a video option) and my tiny little nieces were in snowsuits for the Easter egg hunt along with hundreds of other bundled little bodies. I know we got someone on tape hunting those bright Easter eggs in the snowbanks but I'm not sure we could really tell which little ones belonged to us! Here's hoping the egg hunting this year has a few less inches of snow. This month, our newsletter is highlighting a few of the many spring offerings and happenings at the store. Be sure to stop in and let us show you all that is going on.

Classes and Special Events
Crazy Quilt Class- Susan Ward is coming!! It's not too late to catch this class! We get her for two wonderful days filled with great tips and techniques for completing a Crazy Quilt wall hanging. The first day includes construction techniques and the second focuses on embellishments. Stop into the store to see her gorgeous sample. We have room for two more people- call us @ 406-586-6097 Weds-Thurs April 4-5 Cost: $75 plus kit
Jelly Roll Rug- This pattern is the hottest thing out there right now. Kendrick made our sample last week and it's already selling the supplies like crazy! Come and join us as we show you how to make this great rug. There is a little prep work prior to class, so call to get your supply list ahead of time. There is still a few spots available in both classes. If these dates don't work for you- get on our class interest list. We will be doing this again! For April we are offering two sessions: Weds April 11th, 10-4 or Sat, April 14th, 10-4. Cost: $50 plus supplies
Paper Piecing Class- If you have never done paper piecing and are interested in learning the techniques- we have the perfect class! We have two projects available: Pineapple Paper Piecing or New York Beauty with foundation fabric. If you have your own project- bring it along the technique is the same. We have two spots left in this class. April 12th Thursday 5:30-8:30 Cost: $35.00
Birthday Club Party- We are busy wrapping the gifts for those of you who participated in the 2017 Birthday Club. Our party is on Friday April 13th @ 5:30pm. If you haven't yet RSVP'd do so today!
Long Arm Class- Come and learn to use our Long Arm! You will be required to complete the class prior to renting our Long Arm Machine. Monday, April 16 2pm- 4pm Bring: Pen for taking notes. Cost: $50
Easy-Peasy Cork Bag- Haven't used cork yet? This bag is another fast and easy project that you won't want to miss. We will teach basic bag construction as well and tips and hints that will make your bag impressive! Please note date change: Monday, April 23rd 10a-2p Cost: $35.00
Kimberbell Embroidery Class- Embroidery classes for all makes and models of machines. We have a Kimberbell Dealer Program with exclusive designs that you will not find in her "over the counter" collections. You will not want to miss the fun. Class fee plus kit required for each class.
Bring your machine, stabilizer, threads and USB stick. Cost: $10 + kit. Held the last Weds of each month @ 10am- next class: April 25

MSQCo is hosting a stay-in-your-own-bed mini retreat. Our classroom will be available from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon just for sewing, sewing, sewing! Dinner and brunches are included. If you are interested in more information we'd be happy to send you an invitation. Call today- space is limited.
Stash Busters Pot Pie- Last Monday of every month- Next session: Monday April 30th 6pm. Please call ahead and let us sign you up for class... As always, I want to have enough dessert for everyone! For April: bring 10" squares of darks and lights (we will help you know how many when you call- it's dependent on size you want to make), Stripology ruler or regular 12" square ruler, rotary cutter and sewing machine. Spring Fever Shop Hop is right around the corner- save the dates and get your posse together!
If you missed out on Leslie's fabric painting and quilting classes in March- we are going to schedule them again! The ladies had a great time painting and dying fabrics as well as quilting the next day. What a treasure trove of knowledge you will gain by attending one of Leslie's classes.
Collage Class- Leslie's fabulous collages are a great way to learn applique. Leslie has many tricks and tips to share as you complete your masterpiece. Weds-Thurs- June 13-14th Cost: $80
Fabric Painting and Quilting With Leslie- From start to finish you will gain experience in creating the entire background then embellishing it with your quilting. Leslie will use her years of experience to help you use your quilting feet and new types of threads in the quilting process. Fri- Sat June 15-16 Cost: $80
